Terms of Service

Last updated: March 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Aclude platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use of Aclude after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform.

2. Description of Service

Aclude is an AI-powered web application builder that enables users to create, preview, and deploy full-stack web applications using natural language prompts. The platform provides a code editor, real-time preview, deployment pipeline, and AI-assisted development tools. Aclude operates on a Bring Your Own AI (BYOAI) model: you provide your own AI provider API key to power code generation.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use Aclude. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Keep your password and API keys secure
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Not share your account with others

4. Bring Your Own AI (BYOAI)

Aclude requires you to provide your own AI provider API key (e.g., Anthropic Claude) to use AI-powered features. By connecting your API key, you acknowledge that:

  • You are solely responsible for all API usage and associated costs incurred through your key
  • Aclude is not liable for charges from your AI provider
  • You have the right to use the API key you provide and are in compliance with your AI provider's terms of service
  • Your API key is encrypted at rest and handled according to our Privacy Policy

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Aclude to:

  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Generate, host, or distribute malware, phishing sites, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts or data
  • Circumvent rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

6. Intellectual Property

Your code. You own 100% of the code and applications you create using Aclude. We do not claim any ownership rights over your projects, prompts, or generated output. You may use, modify, distribute, and commercialize your generated code without restriction.

Our platform. The Aclude platform, including its design, features, documentation, and branding, is owned by Aclude and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the platform itself.

You grant Aclude a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

Aclude is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aclude shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Aclude in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if required by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for up to 30 days to allow for recovery, after which it will be permanently deleted. You may export your projects before termination.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Aclude after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
